Join us this week for a look (and sniff) of
our great assortment of herbs.
There are few things
better than herbs to enhance the flavors of the foods we eat. Herbs are
used in almost everything to make a sometimes bland or uninteresting foods
taste wonderful. From savory herbs used to flavor meats, to sweet tasting
herbs to make or flavor tea, the recipes are endless. Let us introduce you
to Herb Plants you can grow to make your
meals more exciting!
Do you have an
established herb garden? Do you get overwhelmed with herb plants that need
to be harvested often to stay in good shape? Let us explain to you how to
keep your herb plants in good shape and good use.
Did you know you can put together some stunning
arrangements using freshly cut herbs? These
arrangements are not only beautiful to the eye, they are also beautiful to
the nose!
We have put together some interesting and fun container gardens using
herbs. These gardens would be great gifts for anything from a housewarming
present to a garden tea party decoration. Easy to do, you will surely be
inspired to create your own specialty herb
gardens.
If you are not sure how
to take care of herbs, don't know if they are best grown in the ground or
in pots, what herbs enhance the flavors of what foods, or which make good
cottage garden accents, then you need to stop in and
spend some time looking at our selection. We offer growing advice, as
well as examples for you to follow.
If you would like to
start out small, we offer a Market Pack of herbs. These handy carriers

mixed basils. These Jumbo 6-packs are priced at only
$7.99! These plants will soon be ready for the garden. If you prefer larger plants,
we can do that! We have herb plants in 4", 4.5", and 6"

Please keep in mind that while many use herbs for
medicinal purposes, we at Robin's Nest have no medical background nor
any other expertise in these matters, and so do not make any
recommendations for herbal medicinal or nutritional use.
